Emergency Shelters
Tubman is Minnesota's largest provider of domestic violence shelter services, with 128 beds in our 3 facilities in Hennepin, Ramsey and Washington counties.
In addition to emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence, Tubman provides access to 11 transitional housing units throughout the Twin Cities metro area. These affordable apartments house 10 families and 4 single women, offering residence for up to 2 years.
The Jobs, Education & Training (JET) program teaches job search and career skills and provides referrals for clients to find jobs. JET also helps victims of domestic violence obtain Family Violence Waivers.
