  • Maplewood
    -----------------------------------------------------------
    Child Specialist Interns support children from infants through age 10, who are living at Tubman’s shelter in Maplewood for families that have experienced domestic violence. Provide individualized, trauma-informed care and advocacy through relationship building, on-site activities, field trips, and respite childcare.
    This position works directly on-site at our Maplewood shelter and adheres to Tubman's COVID-19 safety protocols.

    The Criminal Legal Advocate is responsible for attending court in Stillwater or St. Paul and relays information about criminal domestic assault cases to the clients involved. Must have personal transportation.

  • Minneapolis - Travel required

    Support Tubman Chrysalis Center clients by delivering food boxes from Tubman's food pantry to client homes. All deliveries will be contactless.
    Valid driver's license, car insurance, and access to transportation required; must be 21 years or older.

  • Minneapolis and Maplewood - Remote Opportunity

    The Kids in Transition Group Facilitator Volunteer is responsible for facilitating a support group for youth ages 5 to 12 or 13-17 who have experienced family violence, relationship transitions, and/or grief and loss. This position currently works remotely, with potential to return working onsite. Minimum of one year commitment required.

  • Minneapolis and Maplewood - Remote option available

    Resource Counseling Advocates are responsible for providing crisis intervention, supportive counseling, general information, and referral services to individuals who call or come into Tubman. Laptop or desktop computer required for remote position.

    The Shelter Advocate Volunteer will serve residents with a trauma-informed, strengths-based and client-centered approach while assisting residents to work toward self-sufficiency. This position works directly on-site at our Maplewood shelter and adhere to Tubman's COVID-19 safety protocols.

    ----------------------
    The Shelter Case Manager Intern will work with shelter case managers and staff to assess victim/survivor needs to connect to appropriate services and ensure the provision of comprehensive services which meet their needs. This position works directly on-site at our Maplewood shelter and adheres to Tubman's COVID-19 safety protocols.

    Assist weekend shelter staff with portioning and delivering meals to residents at our Maplewood shelter. Perfect for people working full-time during the week!

  • Maplewood

    Volunteer will be responsible for transporting residents safely and promptly from Tubman East in Maplewood to appointments and errands, or to Tubman Chrysalis Center in Minneapolis. Must be at least 21 years old.
