Donating Goods

Government funding crucial to Tubman's programming needs has not seen an increase since 2018. To best meet the needs of the people we serve, specific donation lists have been created for the items we need to ease the burden on our budget and provide clients with the supplies they need to aid their journey from fear to freedom. Each month will feature a different theme of needs for the people we serve, to better streamline the process and keep items that are most-needed.

September 2026: Kitchen & Cleaning Supplies
Being able to keep your space clean or prepare your own food is something we all need. While Tubman's shelter has its meals catered, many participants will prepare their own food, and making sure that rooms and common areas are clean and tidy can take a lot of time. This month's donation drive of kitchen and cleaning supplies will not only maintain our shelter and housing participants' autonomy and dignity, but ensure that staff, volunteers, and interns are able to care for our buildings.

Donations of these items, unless otherwise specified, should be NEW, UNUSED, FULL-SIZE, and UNOPENED.

We are not currently accepting donations for gently used clothing.
