Counseling & Therapy Internships

Mental Health Interns must be in their second year of a masters or doctoral program. Students co-facilitate groups and carry a caseload of individual clients. Interns become part of the multi-disciplinary team at Tubman Chrysalis in Minneapolis, working alongside staff who represent a wide range of therapeutic styles. They practice in an environment that is trauma-informed, person-centered, strengths-based, and uses holistic and harm reduction approaches.

Currently accepting applications for 9 month internship positions that would begin either in May or September of 2023.

    Clinical Services Case Manager Interns provide case management, advocacy, safety planning, goal planning, and connection to and coordination of additional community resources to clients participating in the clinical (counseling and therapy) services at Tubman Chrysalis.
